Shabir Ahluwalia is one of the most well-known actors in Indian television. He is currently most recognised for his performance in Kumkum Bhagya as Rockstar Abhi. On the show, he was cast opposite Sriti Jha, who played Pragya. As Abhigya, they were both quite popular. Shabir and Sriti abruptly left the show a few weeks ago. Fans were devastated by the news, as the show was basically about Abhi and Pragya’s love story.

Shabir spent nearly 7 years as Abhi in Kumkum Bhagya before leaving the show. Both he and his character have a devoted following. Actors nowadays often believe that playing the same character for years can get tedious. Shabir Ahluwalia, on the other hand, is not one of them. He was asked about it in a recent interview, and his response was the polar opposite of what one might expect. Shabir does not find it monotonous to play a single character for an extended period of time. However, he begins to enjoy it.

The actor argued that playing a character for a long time allows the artist to fully immerse themselves in the role. As a result, more value can be added to the scenes. He also stated that after playing a role for a long time, the artist’s ability to make an effect in each scene comes easily.
Shabir also stated that he is open to a variety of genres and shows, both finite and limitless. The actor stated that the plot is what matters to him. He stated that he will be a part of the show as long as he enjoys his character and the story. And if he no longer enjoys his character or a show, he will no longer be a part of it.
