After Will Smith’s Oscars incident, Chris Rock’s brother Kenny Rock expressed his support for the comic.

Although the Chris Rock–Will Smith brawl at the 2022 Oscars has been gone for weeks, the fallout from the violent affair is still being felt on social media.

In the midst of it all, the Rock’s younger brother Kenny has now joined the ranks of those who found nothing wrong with Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, being mocked by the comic.

Kenny described the tense situation between his brother and the King Richard actor in an interview with the Los Angeles Times on Monday.

“The prank was humorous,” he remarked. It wasn’t hilariously amusing, but I’m sure he wouldn’t make a joke about it if he knew she had alopecia. But he had no idea.”

For the uninitiated, Kenny is the second Rock family member to criticise Smith’s performance at the Oscars. Another sibling, Tony, made a statement shortly after the event, criticising the King Richard actor’s reaction to Rock’s joke.

Smith has something else on his mind, according to Rock’s brother, and he would not accept the actor’s apologies, which he offered the day after the award ceremony.

He answered, “No, I don’t accept it because I don’t believe it was real.” “I believe his publicist and his subordinates probably urged him to do it.”

He went on to say, “He belittled my brother.” “He didn’t have any regard for him.” In my opinion, he has disgraced himself and his legacy by doing so.”
