It was April 9th. Gen. Alexander Dvornikov has been chosen by Moscow to lead the Russian invasion of Ukraine, reports said on Saturday. This is part of a reorganization to unify the military command structure and change its war tactics.
In the New York Times and BBC, Western officials who haven’t been named say that Dvornikov, the commander of Russia’s southern military district, will be in charge of the poorly coordinated Russian troops that have been fighting hard against Ukrainian forces.
