A video of an elephant charging toward a government transport In Munnar, Kerala has gone viral on the internet. According to local media sources, the incident occurred near the Munnar Deputy Superintendent of Police office on Tuesday.
In the video, a government bus driver comes to a halt after seeing an elephant wandering along the road. However, the elephant surged towards the bus seconds later, causing the passengers to scream in panic. Even though the animal shattered the windshield, the driver maintained his composure. After the animal withdrew, he calmly handled the issue and drove away.
IAS official Supriya Sahu shared the video on Twitter, and the driver’s calm demeanour throughout the ordeal has been praised online. Reads the caption of the post, “Don’t know who the driver of this government bus is but he is certainly Mr Cool. The way he handled the supervision check by Mr Elephant, it was like business as usual between them.”
