When the Queen dies, 42% of people want the Duke of Cambridge to ascend the throne, while only 24% want the Prince of Wales to succeed. However, the statistics show that 48 percent of individuals believe Charles will do a good job, while 19 percent believe he will do a horrible job.
According to the Ipsos poll, which polled 2,055 persons, the percentage of people who like Charles has risen 11 percentage points since 2018 to 43 percent.
The Duchess of Cornwall is disliked by 36% of those polled.
The Queen, who is viewed favourably by 69 percent of the public, is followed by William, who is rated at 64 percent, and Kate, who is rated at 60 percent.
Only 30% think highly of Prince Harry, down 35 points from four years ago, and only 24% think highly of Meghan Markle, down 16 points.
