British musician Ed Sheeran has finally won his copyright battle over his hit song “Shape of You.” London High Court judge ruled that Ed Sheeran did not copy ‘Shape of You’ from Sami Switch’s song “Oh Why.”
Sami Switch has claimed that Ed has copied a major part from his song. However, the court ruled that out. In his verdict, Justice Zacaroli penned that he was content that Sheeran did not purposely or subconsciously copied elements from Switch’s song “Oh Why.”
