Shania Twain turned to social media to announce that she was a finalist for a major award and that she needed the help of her fans to get there.
The superstar singer-songwriter revealed on her Instagram Stories that she was one of the performers nominated for the CMT Music Awards’ Trending Comeback Song of the Year.
Her 1997 song Man! I Feel Like A Woman is one of numerous older songs vying for the title of most popular and relevant music this year.
Shania Twain posted a photo of her article asking people to vote, along with the caption: “It’s so awesome that Man! I Feel Like A Woman is loved as much now as when it was first released!”

She also told her followers how they could vote for her song to win by going to their own Stories and clicking on the link.
The country singer is up against Dolly Parton, Alan Jackson, Reba McEntire, and Taylor Swift, among others, for the fan-voted honour, which will be presented with the other prizes on April 11th.
Shania’s fans were reintroduced to her song when she included it in the repertoire for her Let’s Go residency in Las Vegas.
Last year, her legions of admirers were ecstatic when she returned to the stage for her Vegas residency, which she just finished another leg of in February.
Shania’s concerts have become a showcase for not only her dynamic range and musical ability, but also her ever-evolving sense of style, with ensembles featuring feathers, rhinestones, ruffles, leopard print, and many other lavish embellishments.
