A TEACHER who told a youngster that “age is just a number” before having sex with him twice says she “bitterly regrets” it.
Rebecca Williams, a 21-year-old predator, texted the 15-year-old kid flirtatious messages and told him “you’re fit” before taking him back to her house in Criccieth, North Wales.

A judge at Mold Crown Court spared her prison last week after she admitted to two counts of sexual behaviour with the child and misusing a position of trust.
Williams, a convicted sex offender, has subsequently informed acquaintances in her hometown that she “regrets” her conduct.
They said she had to pay a “heavy price” for her alleged “error” of having sex with the juvenile, in whom she had a position of trust.
“Becky understands what she did was terrible, and she profoundly regrets what occurred today,” said one close friend who did not want to be recognised.
“She wishes she could go back in time, but she knows she can’t.” She sincerely regrets what she did.
“As a result of losing her job and the court battle, she has suffered greatly from depression.” She has paid dearly for her blunder.
“She believes she has failed herself and her community.”
According to a friend, the sex offender is now working in construction to keep her “head down and move on with life.”
“Now she wants to try to rebuild her life,” she added.
“She’s changed jobs and is now working in construction, and she’s putting her head down and trying her hardest to go on with her life.”
Williams was sentenced to a 12-month suspended sentence and ordered to perform 150 hours of unpaid labour.
She must also pay £576 in costs, register as a sex offender for 10 years, and is not permitted to deal with children.
Williams picked up the 15-year-old student in her car, according to Mold Crown Court, before the two had intercourse at her house.
Williams then wanted to meet up again, escorting him upstairs for a second meeting before pressuring the adolescent into a more intimate connection.
Her victim, however, banned her on chat applications as rumours began to circulate among school employees.
Williams guilty to two counts of sexual behaviour with a 15-year-old kid and abuse of a position of trust.
PREDATOR IS ‘TRULY SORRY’
“They watched TV before the defendant led him to her bedroom,” said prosecutor Richard Edwards. He characterised the first time as “awkward.”
“Rumors began to circulate among employees that the defendant had slept with a student.”
“The school’s head promptly questioned the defendant about the information, and the defendant denied anything improper had occurred.”
The matter was reported to social services, who notified police, who interviewed with the youngster about the claims.
He acknowledged to having sex with Williams, and she was detained and corroborated what had occurred.
Several of the texts, the court heard, had to have been exchanged on school premises.
Jemma Gordon, defending Williams, stated that she had been receiving mental health treatment.
“She’s in a new relationship, which has benefited her,” Miss Gordon continued.
Judge Nicola Saffman told Williams during her sentencing that she had “groomed” her victim and that sending communications on school grounds was an aggravating element.
