Kate Middleton pays a visit to a minor girl to congratulate her on winning the battle against leukemia

The Duchess of Cambridge is well-known for a number of reasons, one of which is her fondness for children. So, when she saw the viral photo of a small child with leukemia hugging her father through a window during the COVID-19 outbreak, how could the royal mother not reach out?

Mila Sneddon, who is six years old, garnered a lot of affection after her photo went viral in 2020. She was still having cancer treatment at the time. Kate eventually got to see the little girl twice, and now that she’s cancer-free, it appears that the Duchess of Cambridge is staying in touch with her.

Mila and her mother, Lynda Sneddon, appeared on the Lorraine show in the United Kingdom on Tuesday, telling presenter Ranvir Singh that Mila’s therapy was complete. They mentioned that Mila had received a congrats email from William and Kate. “Now she’s known as the cheerful young child who met Kate Middleton, rather than the miserable little kid with cancer,” Lynda explained.

Mila’s favourite colour is pink, according to Kate Middleton, who contacted her after the photo went viral. “I’ll have to attempt to get a pink outfit,” she said to the small girl. Hopefully, one day, Mia, we’ll be able to meet, and then I’ll remember to wear my pink dress for you.” The Duchess donned a pink outfit to uphold her pledge to Mila when they finally met.

The duchess’s three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, are all Mila’s age, so it’s understandable that the small girl’s story would be so touching for her. Kate’s affectionate parenting approach is reminiscent of Princess Diana’s, and she can’t bear leaving her children behind when she travels on extensive global tours. For this adorable youngster, we’d expect nothing less than extraordinary attention from her.
