Harry and Meghan’s security business is looking for a £35-per-hour alarm specialist.
The chosen candidate may even pay a visit to the Sussexes’ opulent California residence, which advertises “on-site jobs.”
Hillcrest Security, which is said to supply armed guards for the royal couple’s £11 million Montecito residence, is looking for a full-time security alarm technician in Santa Barbara, on California’s central coast.
The position is located around 10 minutes from the luxury mountain-shrouded, celebrity-studded neighbourhood to which Prince Harry and Meghan Markle settled in 2020.
The advertised income is between $45 and $55 per hour, which equates to about £35 to £42 per hour.
According to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Living Wage Calculator, it is more than twice the projected living wage for a single, childless Californian worker, which is slightly under £15.
The job posting is looking for “motivated team players with substantial expertise and training in low voltage electronics.”
