The Split fans furious at BBC announcement at episode’s end as whole storyline spoiled

The Split viewers have been left raged after a spoiler at the end, which returned for its third and final series.

The first episode of the six part series, the return of the Defoe family was watched on Monday. Previous series was filled with drama where Nathan leave Hannah and the family home. The couple told their children that they were splitting but would “always be a family.”

It is expected that the new series will follow Hannah Defoe, as she divorces her husband, Nathan but angry fans were so quick to point out that the plot for the entire series was revealed by the announcement at the end of the program while talking over the credits.

On which fans showed their disappointments of social media where on fan, @jersey1leigh said: “Well done BBC for spoiling the storyline of why Lennie is divorcing Felix! Brilliant start to a fab series though! #TheSplit”

Other fan Andrew Parker said: “Did anyone else notice the beeb giving away one of the plot lines at the very end? MND for Lenny!! Grrrrrr #TheSplit #FFS”

Whereas @ETLCOLINB said: “Continuity announcer puts in a strong entry in for Spoiler of the year award. Last year’s winner was #CliveTyldesley revealing The World’s Strongest Man winner during #Euro2020. #TheSplit”

Despite the spoiler, fans were happy for the show, which return back on their screens dubbing the program as “a wholesome modern TV series.”
