The moment a curious bear stepped onto an Ohio couple’s front porch and started searching around for goodies was filmed on their doorbell video.

The Ellsworth Township residents claimed that their doorbell security camera captured footage of a bear going up the steps to their front porch. In an attempt to locate food, the bear is seen searching through the couple’s things and swiping at a bird feeder. The bear, according to the pair, disappeared after a few minutes.

A New Hampshire couple described their experience with an equally interested bear at their Grafton home a week prior.

Melissa Champney claimed she and her husband were awakened late on March 26 by the sound of a bear entering their home through an ajar door and being trapped in their mudroom when the door slammed behind it. When Champney’s husband went around the house and unlocked the entrance from the outside, the bear was free to flee.
