All you need to know about Prince William’s and Kate house search

Prince William and Kate’s house search is currently in full swing as they want to relocate their family away from London and closer to Granny.

The royal couple is believed to be considering relocating to Windsor and has even scouted possible schools for their three children, Princes George and Louis, who are eight and three years old, respectively, and Princess Charlotte, who is six.

Fort Belvedere, erected in 1750-55 for the Duke of Cumberland and enlarged in the Gothic Revival style in the 1820s for King George IV, is one alternative.

It is a Grade II listed structure in Windsor Great Park with several unusual characteristics such as an octagonal dining room constructed by George IV and a set of 31 cannons that were used to fire salutes until 1907.

In the 1860s, Queen Victoria used it as a tea house and opened it to the public.

There’s also a swimming pool, which Edward VIII rebuilt from a lily pond, and a tennis court, which Kate would like.
