According to TMZ, Kanye, 44, chose to drop out of the lineup.

The music festival, which will take place in Indio, California, will begin next weekend.

According to the publication, Travis, a 30-year-old rapper, was also slated to perform onstage with Ye.

The Jackboys rapper was expected to perform at the large-scale festival, something he hasn’t done since the Astroworld tragedy, which killed roughly ten people and injured hundreds more.

His most recent performance took place in a smaller venue in March, at Darren Dzienciol and Richie Akiva’s Oscars party in a private Bel-Air home.

While deejaying at the party, Travis took the stage for a brief set.

The reason for the Donda 2 rapper’s withdrawal from Coachella is unknown.

The festival is still expected to feature Billie Eilish, Harry Styles, and the Swedish House Mafia.

Due to his problems with his previous partner and the new man in her life, Ye was unable to attend the recent Grammy Awards.

According to Page Six, the Graduation star confided to his ex Kim Kardashian, 41, that he was “going away to get help” in early April.

A source close to the Kardashian family told the publication: “For the sake of the kids, Kanye has told Kim he’s not making any public appearances or inflammatory social media statements, and he will go away somewhere to get better.”

It’s unclear whether “away” refers to a specific treatment facility, according to the outlet.

However, “at this time, Ye is committed to a healthy co-parenting relationship with Kim and is focused on raising their beautiful children.”

Kim and her ex-boyfriend have four children: North, eight, Chicago, four, and Saint, six, and Psalm, two.

Jason Lee, Kanye’s new Head of Media Partnerships, told Yahoo recently that the Page Six source was “simply untrue.”

Lee stated: “Ye’s been focused on taking care of himself, being a present and loving father and a creative genius.”

Kim and her new boyfriend, Pete Davidson, 28, have been dating since the beginning of March, when the courts declared she was legally single.
