Just days after celebrating her 36th birthday, Lady Gaga has won another Grammy with Tony Bennett. The singer and her 95-year-old collaborator won Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album for their second collaboration, Love for Sale.
They both beat out Norah Jones’ Till We Meet Again (Live) Tori Kelly’s A Tori Kelly Christmas, Ledisi’s Sings Nina, Willie Nelson’s that’s Life and Dolly Parton’s A Holly Dolly Christmas.
The win marks the 13th for Lady Gaga from 34 nominations and the 19th for Tony Bennett from 41 nominations.

Their album is also nominated for Album of the Year along with three awards for their song I Get A Kick Out of You – Best Music Video Of the Year, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Record of the Year.
‘Tony is beyond thrilled, particularly at the young age of 95, to once again be recognized along with his musical collaborator and dear friend Lady Gaga by the Recording Academy for their album Love for Sale,’ Bennett’s son Danny told Variety.
‘To have the album nominated in six categories including Album of the Year and Record of the Year is an incredible honor,’ he added.
‘Although the producers had invited both Tony and Gaga to perform in Sunday’s Grammys broadcast, it is unfortunate that due to his continuing struggle with Alzheimer’s, he was not able to accept,’ Danny continued.
‘It was decided that it would be fitting for Lady Gaga to perform on her own to represent for both of them,’ Bennett’s son, 68, explained.
He concluded: ‘There is no doubt that she will offer up an impeccable performance from Love for Sale, which is Tony’s final album. He will be cheering her on as he watches from his home in New York City.’
The pair released Love for Sale, on October 1, as a follow up to their Grammy-winning 2014 album Cheek to Cheek.
Love for Sale is their second collaborative album that Gaga and Bennett have released, following 2014’s Cheek to Cheek.
A new documentary entitled The Lady and the Legend, featuring footage from both albums, will be released on Paramount Plus in 2022.
