A SOCIALITE has made the shocking accusation that Vladimi Putin’s son-in-law has STOLEN her newborn child and is keeping her in Russia.
London-based Zhanna Volkova, 44, alleges Kirill Shamalov, 40, has barred her from visiting her daughter since transporting her to Moscow.
Shamalov allegedly transported the infant, who was delivered through a surrogate in October, to Russia without ever seeing Zhanna.
He married Putin’s youngest daughter, Katerina Tikhonova, in 2013, and their relationship ended in 2013, although he remained close to the murderous president.
Ms Volkova and Russia’s “youngest millionaire,” Shamalov, married in 2018 and had been trying for a child.
However, after numerous rounds of IVF, they decided to acquire a surrogate through a Moscow-based service.
The couple’s relationship is said to have ended in the latter stages of the pregnancy, after which Ms Volkova relocated to London.
She claims that after the move, she was kicked out of the surrogacy, with the Moscow agency telling her that they no longer had contact with the surrogate who was carrying her child.
Ms Volkova told the Mail on Sunday, “I was stranded in London with Covid.” I travelled to Moscow as quickly as I could.
“I waited three days for him. He informed me that he had a new girlfriend but that he did not want a divorce. He intended to inflict pain on me.
“I heard he called her Anna, despite the fact that we had decided on Elizabeth after the Queen.”
“Because Russian cops don’t want to know, I’m initiating the investigation here in London.”
She alleges that an acquaintance of her now-ex-husband threatened her of the consequences if she continued to try to see their kid.
Ms Volkova claims Shamalov’s attorneys asked her to sign away her right to visit the infant girl, but she refused.
She took the first flight out of Moscow once the attorneys’ requests were announced for her own safety.
Shamalov is rumoured to be dating fashion designer Anastasia Zadorina, the daughter of a high FSB commander.
“I live with this little picture,” she says of her daughter’s 3D scan.
“I want her to know that she has a mother who did not abandon her.” He is free to retain the £45 million. “All I want to do is see her.”
