After driving for only two miles, the owner of a brand new £250,000 Ferrari smashed the supercar on the same day he bought it.
The only vehicle involved in the crash in Derby earlier today was a fancy sports car, thought to be a Ferrari 488.
Derbyshire Police have released photos of the vehicle’s front bonnet, which is crumpled and covered in scrapes.

The driver, who was unharmed in the accident, was left counting the money shortly after buying the automobile in Derby.

One person tweeted: “OH NO!! Wounded. ‘
A user also added: “You would be absolutely gutted.”
Someone commented: “I take it due to the fact that the car is facing the wrong way.” He’s given it a bit too much gas.
According to a spokeswoman for Derbyshire Police, the East Midlands Ambulance service alerted us to reports of a collision on St Alkmund’s Way in Derby just before 11 am today.
“There was only one car involved in the crash.” There were no injuries recorded.
The driver arranged for their own recovery when the automobile was moved off the road.
“The driver was not arrested or charged with any offense.”
And still another stated: “Good to hear there were no injuries, but maybe too much power for this driver, and it looks like he’s the April Fool for crashing.”
