Bhuvan Bam, a YouTuber, and actor, has apologized after a recent video of his was criticized for objectifying women. Last week, Bhuvan uploaded the video in issue to his YouTube page.
It was widely panned on social media, with many criticizing a scene in which Bhuvan appeared to objectify ‘Pahadan’ ladies, a term for women from the country’s hilly areas.
On YouTube, the video, named Automatic Gaadi, has over 12 million views. Writer Ashish Nautiyal revealed a scene from the film in which Bhuvan’s character requests an automatic car model for a shot.
