LOSING A CHILD IN PUBLIC IS ONE OF THE MOST TERRIFYING SCENARIOS A PARENT CAN CONSIDER.

If this were to happen to you, it would be beneficial to know the best method for discovering your child.

On TikTok, a woman called Danyelle Leyden, who goes by the handle @proudmommy9110, revealed a helpful suggestion for finding a lost child.

Jess Martini (@jesmartini), a fellow mother, uploaded the video, and it quickly went viral.

“I read this suggestion a couple months ago on TikTok that stated if you lose your baby, don’t call your kid’s name,” Danyelle said. Simply start yelling what they were wearing, okay?”

Rather than glancing around quietly or stating a name that no one else in the room knows, yell out their description.

“We’re in Disney World’s Hollywood Studios, and we sure as s*** lost a kid.” Corey was taken from us.

“So, instead of yelling Corey, I was screaming: ‘Green hat, under armour shirt!'” ‘Green headgear, undergarment shirt!’

“And he was located and securely returned to us in less than four minutes.”

Strangers in the park kept their eyes alert and assisted in rapidly locating the boy by yelling out what he looked like.

This tactic would also dissuade any possible kidnappers from fleeing with the youngster since others would be making a scene.

“People were going by me up there, repeating me, saying, ‘Did you see a youngster with a green hat?'”

“It is the most efficient.” Especially in a place like this with so many kids.”

Jess Martini, the lady who uploaded the video, added a few more helpful hints:

“Dress in bright colours; snap a photo of the child in full attire before entering; warn workers and have one adult block the exit; put PARENT name and number on the child.”
