Ranbir Kapoor & Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra shooting wrapped up finally after 5 years. The couple along with film director Ayan Mukherji paid visit to Kashi Vishwanath temple to seek blessings for the success of their movie.
Film director announced the pack up of his much delayed project with few pictures on Instagram. Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Ayan Mukherji can be seen on a boat with sadhus from Varanasi Temple. In another photo, all three of them can be seen wearing garlands on their necks and red tilak on their foreheads. While Ranbir stood with his hands folded in another picture.

The team visited holy city of Varanasi to conclude the final schedule of Brahmastra. Ayan shared pictures with caption “And finally… It’s a Wrap! 5 years since we took our first shot on Brahmāstra, and we’ve finally filmed our last one! Absolutely incredible, challenging, once-in-a-lifetime journey!!! Some hand of destiny that we finished the shoot of ‘Part One: Shiva’ in Varanasi – a city infused with the spirit of Shiv Bhagwan, and that too at the most sacred Kashi Vishwanath Mandir, allowing us to finish in an atmosphere of purity, joy and blessings. Exciting days ahead, last lap ahead! 09.09.2022 – Here we come!”
While Alia Bhatt posted the pictures and a long shotwith caption, “We started shooting in 2018. And now … finally .. The filming of Brahmastra (Part One) comes to an end !! I’ve been wanting to say this for such a long time.. ITS A WRAP!!!!!!!! See you at the cinemas. 09.09.2022.”
Brahmastra portrays the story of ‘Shiva’ played by Ranbir and his lover ‘Isha’ played by Alia. The film’s cast also includes legend Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy. It will be released in five Indian languages – Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
