Fans believe the singer recently disclosed her baby’s gender on her recent shopping trips.
Earlier this month, the Fenty Beauty founder, 34, was photographed shopping for baby goods at a Target. She and DJ Sita Abellán were seen shopping for baby basics such as white Gerber onesies and tiny socks. A coral outfit, on the other hand, appeared to be a clue that Rihanna was expecting a girl.
The Baby Girls’ Soutache Dress is a coral pink dress from Target’s Cat & Jack brand that retails for $18. A matching diaper cover is included with the textured garment.
Of course, one garment does not imply that the “Disturbia” singer is expecting a child. Chatter had subsided until her March 25 excursion to Couture Kids in Beverly Hills. Rihanna was photographed wearing a tiny trench coat outfit and a small heart-shaped dress.
Her social media followers were eager to point out her selections. “You can’t tell me Rihanna isn’t having a girl,” one Twitter user commented on Saturday.
“I can just SENSE Rihanna is having a girl, I simply know it,” one certain fan posted. “And I never f–king get anything wrong.”
Another onlooker was even prepared to wager money on Rihanna’s child’s sex, tweeting, “Putting $5 on Rihanna having a girl.”
The Savage x Fenty designer was photographed wearing full makeup and heels on both occasions, but she told Elle.com hours afterwards that she doesn’t always want to “get dressed” now that she’s in her third trimester of pregnancy.
Rihanna and ASAP Rocky headed out for a photoshoot in February to share the baby news and show off the cosmetics mogul’s pregnancy. The “Diamonds” singer was dressed in a bright pink puffer jacket, a classic Chanel design that can be bought on resale sites for more than $10,000, and light wash blue trousers.
Some speculated that Rihanna’s pink jacket indicated that she was carrying a girl, while others thought the rapper’s blue suit indicated that they were expecting a boy and a girl, generating rumours that they were expecting twins.
While Rihanna and ASAP, 33, haven’t revealed much about their child, Us Weekly exclusively revealed in February that the Barbados native’s due date is in the spring.
According to a source at the time, the pregnant parents are “life partners” who would devote “all of their energies” to raising a healthy baby. They want to “continue working on music and other projects” until Rihanna gives birth, although they may “take time” away from their work after she becomes a mother.
“She’s embracing her pregnant figure and views it as a lovely thing,” a source said at the time. “She’s been looking for herself and her developing child.” ASAP is taking care of her every need and treating her like a princess.”
