Johnny Depp’s communications against Amber Heard are expected to be read aloud during the impending trial in Fairfax County, Virginia on April 11th, 2022.

The text chat between Depp and his actor chum Paul Bettany occurred during a back-and-forth between the jilted ex and Amber Heard.

According to HollywoodLife, the pair discussed ‘drowning’ Heard in their emails to confirm she wasn’t a witch.

Not only that, but Paul mentioned the notion and stated, “I’m not sure we should burn Amber. She’s a joy to be around and a sight to behold.”

“Of course, we could use the English approach and undertake a drowning test.” Thoughts? You’ve got a swimming pool.”

Depp’s enthusiasm for the notion is evident in his own comments, one of which reads, “Let’s drown her before we burn her.” Those are completely my ideas. Let us be assured before we label her a witch.”

This trial is part of the ‘wife beater’ case, which started in 2018 and named Depp as the abuser in the marriage.
