Kaitlin Reagan’s boyfriend, TIKTOK star Francesco LoPresti, died earlier this week at the age of 24.
He died after a lengthy battle with testicular cancer.
Francesco was well-known for making prank videos with his longtime girlfriend Kaitlin and posting them on her social media accounts.
She also documented his cancer battle over the years, posting updates on TikTok and YouTube.
Last week, Kaitlin broke the heartbreaking news to fans that Francesco’s illness had worsened.
“I love you guys, and I ask you to keep him in your prayers,” she wrote to her 3 million followers.
“We’ve reached the end of the road.” Please join us in prayer. Thank you a lot.”
Adriana, Kaitlin’s aunt, informed her of Francesco’s death on Tuesday.
“It is with a very heavy heart that I inform everyone that my niece @kaitlin reagan boyfriends @cescolopresti, who was just like a nephew to me, lost his battle with cancer,” she wrote alongside a collection of photos of the late social media star.
“He fought a valiant battle with the love and support of a large number of people.”
“Francesco’s love and life will be remembered forever.” Thank you for all of your hugs and handshakes the other night.”
“I’m glad I got to you to give me that little smile,” Adriane continued. I adore you and will keep an eye out for signs.
“A life lived so beautifully deserves to be remembered so beautifully.” Please join us in mourning Francesco’s death.
“I sincerely appreciate it.”
Aside from collaborating on videos, Kaitlin and Francesco had a line of beanie merch that represented “unity and strength.”
Kaitlin went into greater detail about her late boyfriend’s battle on their website.
“At the age of 17, Francesco was diagnosed with stage 3B testicular cancer, which had metastasized into multiple tumours surrounding his lymph nodes, neck, liver, spinal cord, and right hip,” she wrote.
“As a result, he [had] undergone numerous surgeries and radiation treatments, and…[was] on his second round of chemotherapy.”
When Francesco entered the “hospice stage” a week before his death, a GoFundMe page was set up in his honour.
At the time, the fundraiser’s creator wrote: “Francesco and his lovely family require our assistance today, despite the fact that he is only 24 years old.
“His cancer has tragically progressed, resulting in astronomical and overwhelming medical bills.
“A beautiful family with deep pride is hurting and needs as much support as possible.”
About $46,000 of the $70,000 goal has been met.
