It has been reported that President Vladimir Putin made a phone call outlining his demands for peace with Ukraine.

On Thursday afternoon, Russian President Vladimir Putin called Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and explained his conditions for a peace deal with Ukraine.

Following the call, the BBC spoke with Mr Erdogan’s top adviser and spokesman, Ibrahim Kalin, who was among a small group of officials listening in.

According to the report, one of the main demands is that Ukraine remain neutral and not apply to join NATO, which the Ukrainian President has already agreed to.

According to reports, there are also demands for Ukraine to go through a disarmament process to ensure that there is no threat to Russia, as well as protection for Russian as a language in Ukraine.

Another demand was made about ‘de-Nazification,’ which Zelensky, who is Jewish, finds deeply offensive.
