Meghan Markle will produce her first solo podcast this summer, a year and a half after she and Prince Harry inked an £18 million agreement with Spotify.

For the series, the Duchess of Sussex stated today that she will look into labels and preconceptions “that aim to hold women back.”

During episodes of Archetypes, she’ll host and interview specialists and historians.

In late 2020, the streaming behemoth awarded the Sussexes a sizable sum.

However, The Sun reported in January 2022 that Spotify was taking the project “into its own hands” when the couple’s content failed to materialize.

A “full-scale” debut of performances was first anticipated for 2021. However, the year passed without any notable events.
