Queen Elizabeth established a set of important rules that all royals must follow when travelling abroad.
Members of the Royal Family are allegedly prohibited from eating shellfish.
Because of the relatively high risk of food poisoning, it’s “a very sensible move to abandon having seafood when out and about on public duties,” according to Grant Harrold, a renowned British etiquette expert.
“We don’t want a member of the Royal Family to suffer from food poisoning.”
“Especially if she’s on a foreign tour,” he told Woman & Home.
This means Kate and William must abide by this rule during their trip to the Caribbean.
