The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, has come under fire from Meghan Markle fans who claim she has been imitating the Duchess of Sussex’s style on her current royal tour of the Caribbean.

According to Express UK, Meghan fans took to social media to accuse Kate after the Duchess deviated from her usual look to a more glammed up style at a reception hosted by Belize’s Governor-General.

Kate, 40, chose to wear her normally loosely curled hair in a slicked back style with a sparkling pink dress that drew attention.

Soon after, Meghan fans took to social media to compare the two, with many sharing photos of Meghan from the Mountbatten Music Festival in 2020, where she wore a similar hairstyle: a middle parting with hair pulled tightly behind the ears.

“That hair is giving me Meghan vibes,” one fan said. Isn’t Kate’s hair usually up to her jawline? “Looks like a copycat to me,” while adding, “Notice how her hair is straight like Meghan’s?”

“KopyKat strikes again,” said another. “This is a historic occasion – the first time #KateMiddleton has EVER had sleek hair,” one person said, adding, “My God. In everything, she tries to be Meghan.”

Some, however, defended Kate, with one saying, “I didn’t realise that no one other than Meghan has ever had sleek hair before!”
