Billie Eilish expressed her fear and excitement about attending the 94th Annual Academy Awards alongside her brother, Finneas O’Connell because their song No Time to Die had been nominated.

In an interview with The Times, the Happier Than Ever hitmaker Billie Eilish said, “Oh, yeah, we’ll be there, definitely. We’re very nervous and very excited.”

When questioned about her experience working on the James Bond movie’s title tune, the 20-year-old said she and Finneas had ‘no doubt’ when they were approached since they truly wanted to do it.

“You often have reservations about things you’re asked to do, but this was one of the only things we’ve ever been asked to do that we were, like, 100 per cent ‘Yes, we want to do this,’” She added. “There was not one ounce of hesitation, in either mine or Finneas’s head at the time.”

Billie went on saying, “We had a lot of our rules in mind for the song, and a long list of things that we wanted to achieve.”

She and Finneas wanted the song to have a ‘strong melody,’ and they ‘wanted to make the title of the movie the hook,’ according to the seven-time Grammy winner.

“It needed to have a big moment, it had to have dynamics, and it needed to feel very Bond-like while also feeling like me. And it couldn’t stray from either.” She explained.

Billie revealed she and brother did not listen to old Bond themes as they didn’t want to ‘accidently copy’ it, adding, “We felt a huge sense of responsibility.”
