Jared Leto stands by his claim that Marvel was the sole contributor to keeping movie theatres open after the virus struck. Leto’s statements recently provoked a lot of debate on social media. Prompting the Morbius star to defend his views in a new interview. Insisting that his views on big-budget superhero movies were not out of line.
Leto previously discussed the issue in an interview, “I’m not sure if theatres would exist if it weren’t for Marvel movies. There doesn’t appear to be enough place for everyone, which is a little distressing.”

His remarks were quickly picked up by reviewers and Marvel fans. Who do not appear to agree with the Oscar winner. Leto stated in his latest interview that he did not intend for his statement to be directed at anyone in particular.
Leto, on the other hand, said, “But I’ll say it once more. I mean, are people irritated by it? Is that something they agree with? What are they thinking? Are they perplexed?” The House of Gucci actor claimed that he used to work at a movie theatre as a kid. And a quick glance at the box office backs up his claim. As Marvel films have made a significant amount of money in recent years.

Intriguingly, Leto went on to say that moviegoers should be grateful for these big-budget projects because they “maintain an ecology.” As he put it, “so that other mature dramas, like House of Gucci, have theatres they can actually be in.” He then went on to say that his message had been lost in translation in his prior interview, which sparked an internet outcry.
Meanwhile, Leto described going to the movies as a “holy experience” for him, one that has even changed his life.
