The bride-to-be proudly displays her engagement ring, but everyone is saying the same thing – and it’s nasty

As any bride-to-be will attest, the weeks after your engagement are spent essentially showing off your ring to anyone and everyone.

So when her other half proposed earlier this year, she couldn’t contain her joy and shared a TikTok video of the big announcement.

The woman boldly displayed her jewels after calling attention to her gorgeous pink French manicure.

“He could have proposed with a ring pop, but…” she wrote.

The dainty solitaire ring has a gold band with a single diamond embedded in it.

Although the woman was pleased with her engagement ring, the size of the diamond was criticized harshly in the comments.

“Nails more expensive than the ring…” said one barbarian.

“Does the ring come with a complementary magnifying glass?” sneered another.

“While his pockets aren’t aching, my eyes are trying to find the gem,” a third wrote.

Others, on the other hand, rallied around the bride and praised her sensitive flair.

“It appeals to me as a minimalist,” a fourth said. “And that’s not meant as a snide remark; I believe the simplicity is lovely.”

A fifth sprang to her defense, saying, “Not everyone wants/likes large rings?”

“For every day males, some folks prefer something more practical?” IT’S AWESOME! Congrats!”

“Very classy,” said a sixth. “These flashy, tacky, borderline visually unpleasant rings are all the rage these days, but this…..this is what I’m talking about.”

And this woman spoiled her friend’s wedding by showing up in a WHITE gown and stole the show throughout the reception.

Furthermore, this bride offered her wedding guests severe instructions for the day – it didn’t go well, and they referred to her as “the devil” and threatened not to attend.

Jumping to her defence, a fifth came back with: “Not everyone wants/likes big rings?

“Some people prefer something more practical for every day guys?? ITS GORG! Congrats!”

“Very classy,” a sixth said. “Everyone like these gaudy, tacky, borderline visually offensive rings these days but this…..this is what I’m talking about.”
