‘The Batman,’ starring Robert Pattinson, earned $66 million in its second weekend of play from 4,417 North American theatres. Bringing its domestic total to a stunning $238.5 million.
A report claims that after only 10 days on the big screen, ‘The Batman’ has become the highest-earning film of 2022. As well as the second-highest grossing since the start of the Covid-19 in early 2020.
Only ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home,’ which grossed $792 million in North America in the last two years, has made more money at the domestic box office.

‘The Batman’ has seen a 51% drop in ticket sales since its $134 million opening, a better hold than most comic book tentpoles, pandemic or not. Recent Covid-era films like ‘The Suicide Squad,’ ‘Eternals,’ ‘Black Widow,’ and ‘Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings,’ saw their second-weekend box office drops range from 53% to 71%.
Other DC adaptations, such as ‘Justice League,’ ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,’ and ‘Wonder Woman,’ saw drops of 43% to 69% following their first weekend.
