Kim Kardashian has had a busy week, and it’s only Monday.

The trailer for her family’s highly anticipated Hulu show “The Kardashians” was released first, followed by the announcement of the launch of Skims’ new swimwear line.

Kardashian, 41, announced on Twitter and Instagram that her brand’s first-ever swim line will be released on Friday, March 18, and shared several photos of herself posing in the sexy styles.

It helps that swim is currently the most-searched category on Skims’ website, despite the fact that Kardashian’s brand – which is now valued at $3.2 billion following its Series B funding round, according to BoF – carries a variety of other categories, including shapewear, loungewear, cotton basics, bras and underwear.

“You’ve asked, we’ve listened,” she captioned her Instagram carousel announcing the line.

Skims Swim will debut with 19 mix-and-match styles, including long-sleeved crop tops, bike-short unitards, and, of course, the classic triangle tops that Kim has worn numerous times. Kardashian explained that she designed the pieces to look like “legos” so that customers could build their own sets.

The collection will be available in XXS to 4X sizes, with prices ranging from $32 to $108.

The swimsuits are available in seven solid colours, including skin-toned options popular with Skims customers as well as more colourful options like cobalt and periwinkle.

Kardashian previously posed in a few of the swimsuits without tagging them on Instagram, but she has since returned to make sure everyone knows they’re Skims.

The collection will be available online as well as at an upcoming pop-up in Miami, followed by pop-ups in Los Angeles, Japan, and Dubai.

Skims Swim, according to a press release, is designed to transition “from day to night, poolside to pool party, the beach, and more.”

Kardashian served as the collection’s fit model and tested all of the fabric herself. Let’s hope the finished product outperforms her sister Kylie Jenner’s foray into swimwear.
