Prince Charles has a touching tribute to his pet dog, who died in 2002 at his country estate, Highgrove House. Tigga, his Jack Russell, was adopted as a puppy and quickly became a beloved member of the family.
The dog even appeared in family pictures and on an annual Christmas card! When Prince Charles died, his friend was buried in the grounds, and he also commissioned Emma Stothard to make a willow sculpture of Tigga for guests to enjoy.

“Emma received support from HRH The Prince of Wales’ charity @princestrust to enable her to start her career as a sculptor, and her stunning work can be seen around the gardens with new sculptures added each year,” the caption read.
The magnificent statue was a hit among royal admirers. “Fantastic sculpture,” one said, while another said, “Oh my, heavenly doesn’t even begin to express it.” “Happy Tigga enjoying the Spring beauties,” a third person remarked.
Charles and his wife, the Duchess of Cornwall, live in Gloucestershire.
