According to ISPR, an international Standard Astroturf Stadium has been completed at Ayub National Park Rawalpindi as a joint venture of Mari Petroleum Company Limited (MPCL) and Army Heritage Foundation (AHF).
The international Standard Astroturf Stadium has been made to promote National Hockey Sport and provide state of the art sports facilities.
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa was the chief guest on the inaugural hockey match played between Pakistan greens and Pakistan white.
COAS appreciated MPCL for efforts to revive the national game of Hockey.
