Pakistan remembers the fifth death anniversary of the national hero of Pakistan, Aitzaz Hassan.
Aitzaz Hassan was a ninth-grade student who sacrificed his life and saved many.
The courageous teenager grabbed the suicide bomber when he tried to enter the school. The suicide bomber then blew himself in front of the school gate. Aitzaz was martyred in the incident.
The incident had happened in Hangu in 2014.
The bomber had blown himself during the fight between Aitzaz and the bomber.
Minister of science and technology Fawad Chaudhry had paid honor to the national hero by tweeting.
He said in his tweet, “Today is the death anniversary of Shaheed Aitzaz Hassan young boy sacrificed his life but save 100s if students by preventing a suicide attack on a Hangu School,”

Apart from that, popular singer Shehzad Roy and Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Asif Ghafoor also paid homage to the braze boy.

Also, the father of Aitzaz Hassan also said, “My son made his mother cry but saved thousands of mothers from crying for their children.”

Aitzaz Hassan was a Pashtun boy and belonged to the Hangu district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Due to his dedication and sacrifice, he was called the national hero.
