Two majors of the Pakistan Army were martyred after an aviation helicopter crashed at Siachen, said the military’s media wing on Monday.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) identified that martyred pilots as Major Irfan Bercha and Major Raja Zeeshan Jahanzeb.
The ISPR said that as soon as the incident was reported search and rescue helicopters, and army troops reached the crash site.

The Siachen glacier is the highest battleground with Pakistan and India have fought intermittently since April 1984. Both countries maintain a permanent military presence in the region.
