The government is seeking to establish the groundwork for Pakistan’s first e-commerce university, said Senator Aon Abbas Buppi, the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on E-Commerce.
Senator Aon Abbas Buppi discussed the project’s goals and capabilities while speaking at the Ministry of Commerce’s one-day ‘National E-commerce Symposium.’
He said, “We would soon be setting up the first e-commerce university, which would enhance the capabilities of e-commerce trader’s not only in Pakistan but also in the emerging e-commerce international market,”

Pakistan’s e-commerce business is primarily operated by the youth, according to the Special Assistant on E-commerce, and the government would now give them resources to allow for further expansion.
He went on to suggest that the establishment of an e-commerce university will provide Pakistan’s youth with new work options. Pakistan’s economy might would be boosted by being a part of the global supply chain.
