Egyptian Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Ahmed Morsi, and Khalifa Ali Al Kaabi, Head of the Executive Department for Defense Technology and Industries at the Ministry of Defense of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the two countries in the defense industries.

Morsi indicated that the aim of this signing is cooperation in the fields of defense industries, stressing that it comes in light of the long-established relations between Egypt and the UAE.

The signing came on the sidelines of the Emirati-Egyptian Conference for Defense Companies, which was held on the third day of the second edition of Egypt’s largest international defense expo, EDEX 2021.

The expo runs from Nov. 29 to Dec. 2 at Egypt’s International Exhibition Center in New Cairo.
