The attack took place in Ketti village in Tamil Nadu’s Nilgris district, and the video was shared on Facebook

With a stick, the unnamed young man slashed at the bovine. The man was not provoked by the injured animal, as shown in the video.

The Indian gaur is shown mock-charging the man before fleeing. People who were recording the incident were heard yelling at the man, saying that, “Don’t beat it. It is already hurt.”
