PM Imran inaugurates academic blocks of Al Qadir University in Jhelum

JHELUM: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday inaugurated the academic blocks of al Qadir University in Jhelum.

The university will provide education facilities for boys and girls in Islamic teachings, mysticism and modern scientific research.

The educational programme of al Qadir University will also focus on building leadership qualities in the students as well as their character in the light of Seerat-e-Tayyeba.

The existing capacity of the academic blocks is five hundred students, which will be enhanced in phases.

Addressing the inauguration ceremony in Jhelum, Imran Khan said a coward and selfish man could never become a leader. Stealing by a leader of a country was the biggest catastrophe, he said adding that who would work hard in a society where corruption was not considered corruption.

“A leader thinks beyond his personality and about the masses,” he said.

The prime minister said the biggest problem in the country was Western culture’s becoming common. The Western culture was spiritually declining, he added.

“Our youth are not being guided. To become a great nation, you must have the best character,” he said.

He also said if social media could not be shut down, at least children could be taught about what is right and what is wrong.

Talking about Islamophobia, Imran Khan said Pakistan’s reaction was always ahead of everyone, if anything happened against Islam.

“We are lovers of Prophet Muhammed (SAWW), but our lives are not in accordance with the manners of the Prophet (SAWW),” he said.
