LAHORE: The National Transmission and Dispatch Company (NTDC) will procure disc insulator and hardware string amounting to 10.8 million euros for 500kV SECL (Thar Block-I) to Matiari Double Circuit transmission line for evacuation of power from 1320MW SECL Coal Power Plant.
The contract signing ceremony for the procurement of the material was held at a local hotel in Lahore, where NTDC deputy managing director Engr Muhammad Ayub and representatives of Sediver SAS, France signed the contract.
The ceremony was attended by the high ranked officers and French experts.
Ayub chaired the occasion along with deputy managing director Safdar Ali. A large number of general managers, chief engineers and young engineers were present on the occasion.
Addressing the ceremony, Ayub expressed that the quality of hardware and insulators is one of the critical factors in tripping of transmission lines.
NTDC is making efforts to improve its design and specifications, besides enhancing cooperation with the leading manufacturers and industry experts to meet modern day challenges.
