RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has granted Saudi citizenship to a group of experts with unique expertise and specialisations, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Thursday.
The Kingdom announced in 2019 a plan to offer citizenship to talented and creative individuals in various sectors, who meet the naturalisation criteria.
The move comes as part of plans to diversify the economy and steer it away from its reliance on oil.
