India was eliminated from the T20 World Cup on Sunday after New Zealand defeated Afghanistan at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium.
The unexpected elimination, along with Pakistan’s golden run at the tournament, resulted in trends like Mumbai Airport, Bye Bye India and Mauka Mauka — in reference to the the Indian ad campaign used in world cups to take a jibe at Pakistan.
Among those was actor and TV host Fahad Mustafa.
Mustafa sniped, “Security ka masla ho to hum hazir hein” (if you need security then we are available), while retweeting an old tweet of Indian skipper Virat Kohli.
Kohli in the tweet had said: “Going home tomorrow. not a good feeling”.
