Pakistanis troll New Zealand team with epic ‘security’ jokes

Pakistan made an exceptional start in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup with a historic win over India by 10 wickets on October 24 at Dubai International Stadium.

They followed that victory with another triumph against New Zealand by five wickets at Sharjah Cricket Stadium. Haris Rauf was the star of the game with four wickets for 22 runs in four overs.

The Men-In-Green held nerves while chasing a paltry 135-run target, losing five wickets before romping home in 18.4 overs for their second consecutive win in the Super 12s stage.

Pakistan cricket fans were hoping to see their team dominate the Black Caps as they had earlier cancelled their tour hours before the start of the first ODI in September, citing ‘security concerns’.

The cricket enthusiasts were left heartbroken and felt betrayed by the international cricket community.

As the Green Shirts won the game, fans in the stadium started chanting ‘security, security’ and also people took to social media to troll the Kiwis over their ‘security concerns’.

A user posted an edited picture of Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan and Shaheen Shah Afridi as security personnel and wrote ‘security problem resolved’.

Trolling the Black Caps, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhary said, “We were actually angry with New Zealand. India just came in the way.”
