Pakistan cricket team skipper, Babar Azam refused to answer the about the exclusion of former captain Sarfaraz Ahmed from the national ODI squad.

Babar said he is not supposed to talk about Sarfaraz as Chief Selector Mohammad Wasim has already given explained his exclusion from ODIs against New Zealand.

He said, “I can’t talk individually about Sarfaraz. I think the chief selector has explained it already,”

Babar Azam told that the best players were selected for the series.

He said, “These are the best possible players we had. We tried to include some players to fill in the gaps, especially middle-order batting,”

“See, criticism is always there but we select players who we need. We can’t make everyone happy. Our focus is on the series and we will try to win it,”
