NA Unanimously Passes Resolution Condemning Attack On Hindu Temple

The National Assembly unanimously passed a resolution condemning the attack on the temple in Rahim Yar Khan.

The resolution presented in the National Assembly by Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan was unanimously passed.

Ali Mohammad Khan while expressing his views in the House said that we as Muslims and human beings are saddened by this incident adding that whoever committed this incident has nothing to do with Islam or humanity and we are all one on the issue.

He said that we are weeping over Babri Masjid, we are weeping over the attack on the temple too.

The Minister of State said that if a temple or a Christian place of worship is damaged, our Supreme Court, government and parliament stand with the minority while in India the Supreme Court and Modi government stand against the minority, this is the difference between India and Pakistan.

Ali Mohammad Khan said that Parliament stands with the Hindu community in this grief. The Prime Minister condemned the incident and directed to bring the accused to justice.

He said that the Constitution of Pakistan guarantees the protection of the rights of minorities, the House is committed to the protection of the rights of minorities and assures protection to the Hindu community.

It may be recalled that the Supreme Court has also ordered the immediate arrest of the accused who attacked the temple in Rahim Yar Khan and ordered the accused to pay for the construction and repair of the temple.
