ISLAMABAD: Adviser to Prime Minister on Commerce and Investment Abdul Razak Dawood has congratulated the Rice Exporters Association of Pakistan (Reap) and all its members for remarkable achievement of crossing $2 billion-mark in exports.
In a tweet, the adviser said: “We are very proud of our rice exporters because despite all challenges like [the] Covid-19, global logistics crisis, increasing freight rates, etc, they have still managed to cross the $2 billion-mark in exports.”
Dawood said that the government policies will continue to support exporters and rice will remain a very important sector for Pakistan’s exports.
