Federal minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar has asked the people to strictly adhere to Anti-COVID SOPs to stop the spread of the novel coronavirus.
According to the details, in a tweet on Friday, National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC) Chief said the entire region is experiencing a severe spike in infections and it is necessary to contribute to containing the spread by taking sensible precautions.
He wrote:
The entire region is experiencing a severe covid spike. It is vital that we all contribute to containing the spread by taking sensible precautions. Wear a mask, avoid crowded places, wash hands or sanitize often, reduce travel to only essential work.

On the other hand, Pakistan Ulema Council has announced to create awareness about SOPs against COVID-19 during the Friday congregations today.
Special Representative to the Prime Minister on Religious Harmony Hafiz Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi and others said in a joint statement urged the people to take precautionary measures to prevent spread of Covid-19. They said people should also get themselves vaccinated as a precautionary measure.
