Hindus around the world are spreading colors and enjoying meals on Sunday as they are celebrating the Holi festival.
The festivals of colors are one of the most popular festivals among Hindus. According to sources, the word has been derived from the word ‘Holika’. The event is not new, it was celebrated in the past we well. Historians say that it was celebrated by all Aryans but more so in Eastern areas of India.
