Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi on Tuesday delivered a talk on the role of Pakistan Navy in regional maritime security.
According to the Spokesperson of Pakistan Navy, Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi is on the official visit to Qatar.
On arrival at Doha Naval Base, Naval Chief was welcomed by Commander Qatar Emiri Naval Forces (QENF) and presented Guard of Honor, said the PN Spokesperson.
In addition to this, CNS visited various Qatari Naval facilities and was briefed about the capabilities of Qatari Naval Forces.
Naval Chief called on Chief of Staff (COS) Qatar Armed Forces, Commander QENF and Commander Qatar Emiri Air Force separately.
During interactions, matters of mutual interests and bilateral defence collaborations were discussed. On the occasion, CNS Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi highlighted Pak Navy’s efforts for maritime security in the region.
CNS also thanked for participation of Qatari Naval Forces in Ex AMAN-21. Naval Spokesperson added that the Qatari military dignitaries appreciated PN’s initiative for collaborative maritime security.
CNS also visited Qatar Naval Ship, Trg School and Al Ghanem Academy where the Admiral was given onsite briefings.
The Naval Chief also visited Joaan Bin Jassim Joint Command and Staff College and called on Commandant Major General Fahad bin Mubarak Al Khayareen.
